I was so excited to make my calligraphy debut at the Vancouver Boheme Workshop hosted by Vasia Weddings and Artiese Studio, and even more ecstatic that it was featured on Style Me Pretty!
I also participated as a student and learned so many helpful tips on shooting film – I was instantly hooked the moment I received my scans back from the lab! I will definitely be investing in a medium format camera in the near future.
I am only sharing a few images from the workshop for now – more to come soon.

It was such a pleasure to work with my beautiful and lovely past bride, Harpreet and her partner Aileen of Hote Event Coordination & Decor on D+A’s gorgeous black tie wedding. Even though it was a freezing cold February day, I was so grateful that it didn’t rain and I got to take portraits of the stunning couple outdoors around the Jack Poole Plaza in downtown Vancouver. Danielle was such a trooper and braved the cold looking amazing in her princess ballgown. Here are some highlights from their special day:
What I love about photography is that you never stop learning. There is always room to grow and I draw a lot of my inspiration from fellow photographers I admire and love. I recently had the pleasure of having a mentoring session with the lovely Vasia for Boheme Workshops and had such an amazing time! It took myself out of my comfort zone in a good way and helped polish my skills. I learned more about myself as a photographer and strengthened my love for wedding photography.
Boheme Workshops is hosting another workshop on March 21st in Vancouver at the beautiful Hycroft Manor and I highly recommend attending! You can find the details here.
Here are some of many images taken from the workshop that I absolutely adore –
